A scroll foot is a foot on a piece of furniture that looks something like a scroll -- although in this case, scroll generally just means spiral, or even just a curve that doubles back on itself. In most cases the foot will essentially look like the leg is curling back upon itself, with the curve ranging anywhere from 0.5 to 2.5 full spirals. The foot will almost always have a small pad or pedestal to raise the scroll off up the floor; some designs highlight this, other minimize it.
