In the
Futurama episode "
War is the H Word",
Earth declares war against the planet Spheron One. The inhabitants of Spheron One are essentially balls that attack the
Earth army (including
Fry,
Leela, and
Bender) by
bouncing up and down repeatedly on them. Spheron One was deserted by the balls after their leaders, the
Brain Balls, turned the planet over to Earth and the
spherical inhabitants bounced off into space.
