"Squier Bullet" refers to a model of
electric guitar made by
Squier that was discontinued at the beginning of
2007 due to a lack of market interest, having been under production for a very short time.
The Bullet was a budget model intended for the
beginner market. It had a hardtail bridge, a plywood body, maple bolt-on neck, 3 standard single-coil
pickups, a 5-way pickup switch, a volume knob, and a tone knob each for the middle and neck pickups.
Though the guitar has been discontinued, it still sees some popularity as a "buy it and mod it" instrument. I, personally, have removed the middle pickup and done an
amateur rewiring job to turn mine into a cheapo
Strat-shaped
Fender Telecaster.
