"Joe Egan and Gerry Rafferty were a duo knows as Stealers Wheel when they recorded this Dylanesque pop bubble gum favorite from April of 1974."

-- Steven Wright as the radio DJ in Reservoir Dogs

A Scottish band who really were lost in time until the movie Reservoir Dogs was released. They existed and played throughout the 1970s. Originally, they were the Humblebums, but broke up in 1971. Egan and Rafferty joined forces again soon after and signed on Rab Noakes, Roger Brown, and Ian Campell. They signed with A&M, but Noakes, Brown, and Campell had left. The signed on Paul Pilnick, Tony Williams, and Rod Coombes. Their biggest hit was "Stuck in the Middle with You." That song reached up to #6 in the US.
