Sulfamic Acid

Sulfamic Acid (NH₂SO₃H) is a white, high purity, finely crystalline, non-volatile, non-hygroscopic material.

STORAGE: Non-flammable and non-explosive at room temperature. Should be stored in a dry place.

USES:

• Removal of lime deposits (e.g. boiler scale).
• Used in metal pickling, galvanizing and Electro-refining.
• Removal of nitrite after diazotiastion (dyestuff manufacture).
• Cleaning agents for use in milking parlors, dairies, breweries, and sugar factories.
• Used in sulfating and sulfonating reactions.
• Manufacture of sodium cyclamate.
• Used as a catalyst in esterification processes.
• pH adjustments for dyeing and other systems.
• Stabilizing agent for chlorine and hypochlorite in swimming pools
• Bleaching paper pulp and textiles.
• Catalyst for urea-formaldehyde resins.
