Do you wonder why those scratches on your teflon-coated cookware always seem to appear? You can prevent this from happening if you take a few precautions:

1. When you wash the dishes, don't put knives and forks on the surface of the cookware;

2. Use only a plastic scrubber or a sponge to get the food off your cookware;

3. When storing your non-stick cookware, do not put other cookware or objects in or on top of the coating. Give one drawer or cupboard to each piece or hang them on a rack where space allows minimizing contact with other objects. The COATING! The COATING! PROTECT THE COATING!

4. Use only non-metallic utensils to handle the food within your non-stick cookware.

If you follow these tips, your non-stick cookware will last you a long time.
