In C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia, the fictional capital city of Calormen. Situated on an island between two great rivers, Tashbaan was covered and crowded with buildings and narrow streets rising up to the great temple of Tash in its center. Shasta, Bree, Aravis and Hwin made their way through Tashbaan during their escape from Calormen into Archenland.

For in Tashbaan there is only one traffic regulation, which is that everyone who is less important has to get out of the way for everyone who is more important; unless you want a cut from a whip or a punch from the butt end of a spear.
