"El Ultimo Viaje del Buque Fantasma" is a short story by Gabriel García Márquez, from his collection La Increible y Triste Historia de la Candida Erendira y de Su Abuela Desalmada (The Amazing and Sad Tale of Innocent Erendira and Her Cruel Grandmother). It is a story about a boy who keeps seeing a gigantic ghostly ocean liner crashing on some rocks.

What makes the story so amazing is that although it is about ten pages long, depending on the edition, it is comprised of a single sentence. The sentence is so masterfully constructed, however, that most readers do not realize this upon first reading.
