Another
protest, another march,
once more we
come together
to rally 'round a cause.
but the crowds are getting thinner,
and
getting older too,
and our voices are sounding rather small
A disillusioned people living disillusioned lives,
They buried the American Dream today.
The special interests gather
within the halls of Congress
to do whatever it is they please.
but no one trys to stop them,
except a daring few.
It seems we just don't care anymore.
A disllusioned people with disillusioned lives
Seems like complacency has come away the winner
Disillusioned children with disillusioned minds
The spark of action is slowly getting dimmer
Our disillusionment will suffocate and one day kill this nation
They buried the American Dream today.
