I mumble, I garble, but she pins my head between her hands, sculpting meaning out of denial as I am turned to face her

This fervent touch.

I sigh, burrowing my head into my shoulder, lost and found, hiding with the one I seek.

on my hair, my temple, my neck

hands stroking, lips speaking a language without sound,

I fall back to my pillow, shoulder turned to the wall, and huddle in silence.

And she closes the door of dream behind her.
