A progressive rock supergroup: King Crimson's rhythm section of John Wetton and Bill Bruford, plus guitarist Allan Holdsworth (from the Tony Williams Lifetime) and violinist/keyboardist Eddie Jobson (Roxy Music). Their 1978 debut, much hyped, wasn't bad, but it came at a bad time: FM AOR radio had grown as conservative as Top 40, and prog had become an also-ran in the rock marketplace. Bruford left to go solo, taking Holdsworth with him. Zappa alum Terry Bozzio took over on drums.
