the nice thing is the self adjusting camshafts... Some how they have designed it where the intake cam shaft will adjust itself to the way the car is being driven!! So eventualy Honda will be featuring a 2.0L four-cylinder DOHC-VTEC powerplant. The "i" stands for intelligent. Honda will also be featuring the "VTEC-DI". The "DI" stands for Direct Injection. VTEC-i combines VTEC technology with Variable Timing Control (VTC). Meaning that the cam gears will be adjustable. This will assist in low-end torque because the ECU will automatically advance or retard the engine timing for increased performance all through the RPM range! We are talking about a 20% increase in horsepower.
