In
psychology, Weber's law states that the size of the
jnd, amount it
takes you to notice something changed, changes, directly, with the size of
the
standard.
For example, say we have a given
object, the standard, that weighs 5 pounds.
The jnd of this object will be half that of an object that weighs 10 pounds.
The jnd of an object weighing 20 pounds will be 4 times the one weighing 5
pounds, and so on.
