The seventh and final book in Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality, "And Eternity deals with that most enigmatic of incarnations, God, the incarnation of good.

Throughout the series, the supreme incarnation of Good has been noticeably quiet. What is God doing? Why is Satan allowed to have his way, unrestricted, on Earth? These and many other questions are answered in "Eternity". We see Nox, a minor incarnation, the incarnation of Night. We meet some interesting characters, and are posed the question: What kind of human should assume the office of God?

The surpise ending is satisfying, like all of the Incarnations books. Recommended.
