A criss-cross is a form of word puzzle in which a set of words is to be placed in rows of boxes across and down. Thus, it is similar to a simple crossword puzzle with very poor interlock.

Unlike a crossword, in a criss-cross, the answers are all usually provided, but their order is unknown, and determining this is the point of the puzzle. You must use logic and the process of elimination to determine which word goes in which slot.
