A temperature at which a system undergoes a phase transition. For example, the temperature at which the atoms of a substance
begin to arrange themselves in an ordered state as the substance is gradually cooled. For substances with more complicated
phase diagrams, the critical temperature Tc could also refer to the temperature at which the substance changes from
one ordered state to another.
