Another way or saying forté or, more plainly, speciality. Often applied to occupations, as in "I soon discovered that my métier lay in burglary". Work for which one is well suited.

Métier is pronounced MAY-tyay and derives from the French. It shares the same Latin root as ministry (ministerum).
