三所攻め
Mitokorozeme, literally "attack in three places," is one of the 82 kimarite, or winning techniques, in sumo wrestling.
In mitokorozeme, the winning rikishi simultaneously trips his opponent's leg with one leg, pulls the opponent's other leg out from under him with the opposite arm, and knocks the opponent over backwards with a headbutt to the belly.
Mitokorozeme is an extremely rare kimarite, and in the modern era (since 1950), only one wrestler has ever used this technique. Mainoumi, the smallest sumo wrestler ever, won matches using mitokorozeme on three separate occasions in the 1990s, although one of those victories, against the gigantic Akebono in 1994, was wrongly ruled uchigake by the officials.
Because he was so small, Mainoumi had to use every trick in the book in order to beat some of the largest sumo wrestlers of all time, so it was not surprising that he would use mitokorozeme at some point. All told, Mainoumi used an astonishing 33 different kimarite at some point in his career, earning himself the well-deserved and memorable nickname, "Department Store of Technique."
