A feathery, delicate salad green from Japan. Member of the mustard family. It's often found in mesclun. Choose mizuna with crisp green leaves, avoiding any wilted or browning specimens. Refrigerate in a plastic bag for up to 5 days. Wash and thoroughly dry just before using. A fragile green like this needs a light dressing, say a lovely vinaigrette with a touch of sesame oil.
