Photosensitive is the adjective used to denote something is sensitive at light.

Photo: this is a greek radical that means, literally, light. Also referred as Phos sometimes.

Furthermore, photosensitive is the quality of a glass to suffer permanent physical-chemical transformations. These are oxide-reductional reactions mainly induced by ultraviolet radiation.
