A
mystical clan from the
mangas
X(or as it is known as in America:
X/1999) and
Tokyo Babylon. The
clan is a group of
assassins that uses
Shinto to
kill. The group's
leader is called the
Sakurazukamori, translated as "
guardian of the
cherry blossom barrow." The only way for a
member to become the leader of the clan is by
killing the current leader.
The clan's
enemy is the
Sumeragi Clan.
The
first known leader of the clan was
Setsuka Sakurazuka, whose
son '
succeeded' her. Not much information is known about her.
The
second known leader was
Seishirou Sakurazuka. A
cold,
impersonal man, he made a
bet with
Subaru Sumeragi, the
13th head of the
Sumeragi Clan, that Seishirou would take care of Subaru and if he
fell in love with him, he would
spare his life. Seishirou was also a
chosen one of the
Dragons of Earth.
