pinball technique for attempting to
save a
center drain.
The player slaps one side of the machine with an open hand, hitting the flipper
button in the process of nudging the game. If successful, the ball hits that
flipper instead of draining. If unsuccessful, the ball drains anyway and/or the
game tilts.
