A term I learned in Nepal. Tubelight is what Nepalis call flourescent lighting. However, especially in such a poor country, tubelights tend to be dim and flicker on and off. So it's also a perjorative describing someone who's not too swift, as sharp as a sackful of wet mice. Cf dimbulb.
