"Wo" is german for where. This is very funny because the german word "wer" which is spoken like where actually means who what sounds like "Wo". This is nearly as confusing as the alltime number one favourite "bekommen" (to get) and to become.

Can I become a Beefsteak ?

"Wo" is the Japanese object particle. It is pronounced "o" and has its own hiragana, which on a Game Boy game, might look like:
    #
 #####
   #
   # ###
  # #
  ######
    #
     ###

Example sentences:

Boku ha ringo wo tabeta.
I ate an apple.

Keiko-san ha uta wo utatte iru.
Keiko is singing a song.

Wo (?), n. & a.

See Woe.
