As a film student, I am filled with a subtle but ever-present dread upon perusing the isles at Blockbuster, gnawed at by that obstinate soothsayer at the back of the head whose uninvited hollers foretell of a life wasted away between walls plastered with the brightly-hued opuses of those who were once my collegues.

But, really, at heart, I'm an optimist.
