There's just no way to sum up what I'm all about. I try to see through the facade that is our sociaty and culture and focus on the truth about our environment and its history. I also try to focus on progress for the greater good of our world's future, which isn't always easy.
I'm not big on making internet friends. I enjoy conversing sometimes on the net, but I don't get on here regularly. I try to enjoy a more traditional life, which is tricky since our world is so cluttered with technological nonsense. I love technology when it simplifies things, and makes life easier. The trouble is that this is rarely the case. We don't have a single, user friendly remote control. I can't even begin to understand the cell phone world, and I'm a chemist... its not like I'm dim or anything. My car tells me when I need to put gas in it... if I can't tell that on my own, I shouldn't be driving.
The internet has its advantages, mainly in the saving and making money realm, but one must be careful to stay aware of one's surroundings and not stay narrowly focused on this little comforting screen. What will we do when its gone?
