Only in academia is the Halting Problem solvable. This bit was given to me by my computational theory instructor in college.

Assume the existence of a super grad, who is capable of working in any area in computer science (except possibly numerical analysis). Assume the super grad has a mathematical notation of SGi,j*. The super grad is given the property of that given the description of any grad student, and a description of his/her thesis topic, the super grad will either halt with a dissertation, or keep publishing.
