Also known as a
Baby Universe, this is a
universe created inside another, preferably in a
mad scientists lab, (which happens to be in the basement). It is linked to the
parent universe via a
wormhole (see:
umbilical cord,
badly extended metaphor).
The uses for this could range from computing to escape to the place where an evil person takes all the left socks.
