Eion, engineer, mechanical type, I was incomputing in 1959 with valve type machines, then went away for many years until in 1990s I obtained an old BBC machine and became interested, then used Windows and I am now trying hard to get a Linux set up worki.ng on a machine, olr 120 pention, but can only acces the net with windows as I can not get RedHat 5.2 to set up a dial-up modem setup as I do not have enough information.
