At the moment, I'm a half-crazed 17 year old with about twenty days of high school left. In case it matters to anyone, I'm versed in many sciences. In the fall, I'll be a student at Hope College in Holland, Michigan, majoring in Computer Science.

Yeah, I'm a nerd. Proud of it, too. I wear my iPod shuffle constantly. (Then again, who wouldn't?) No pocket protector, though.

I'm also deeply interested in the English language. I'll do writeups on all the various things in my Pile of Shame as I read them.

The Pile of Shame contains:
Most all works by Shakespeare
The Maltese Falcon
All the Sherlock Holmes stories
Don Quixote
Catcher in the Rye
Catch-22
Heart of Darkness
The Sound & The Fury
The Godfather (in Progress)
Medea
Native Son
Waiting for Godot
Billy Budd
Faust
Doctor Faustus
The Divine Comedy
The Decameron
The Canterbury Tales (in Olde English, of course)
Paradise Lost
This Side of Paradise

More to come, as I think of them.
