In Linux computers that run Apache, this is the directory where any logs that apache generates go. The main one is usually called, access.log. There is also error.log, agent.log and referer.log, as well as zipped versions of older logs.
Grepping the access log for your username is a simple way to see who has been viewing your webpage.
