A truly interesting screen resolution brought to you by those 1980's masters of oddball information technology specifications, Apple Computer.

832x624 was a high res when the groundbreaking Mac II was released, and fit marvelously on a 15" screen at the Mac OSes* pixel-pitch of 72dpi.

Continues to be a popular resolution today (Y2000) for iMac users, who are blessed with 15" built-in monitors.

* of course, back when the Mac II was released, the Mac OS was called System 6.0.5.
