North American area code used in North Carolina. On November 14, 1993, 910 was split off from the existing 919 area code, the new one running across the middle of North Carolina from the northwest (Winston-Salem) to the southeast (Wilmington).

From August 1962 to the end of 1981, 910 was used for TWX/WADS service in the central and western U.S.
