Abbreviation for the Adventure Game Toolkit, a game engine allowing anyone with mild scripting abilities to create a text adventure game (or piece of Interactive Fiction.) Similar to Infocom's Inform engine, but less powerful.
One of Canada's many crown corporations, it had a monopoly on telephone services in the province of Alberta until it was privatized in the mid-90s. It is now known as Telus.
