The capital of Maryland. It's one of the oldest cities on the East Coast, and is site of the Naval Academy and St. John's College, the third oldest college in America. Called "Paris of the Colonies" by George Washington. It's a charming colonial town for about two days, at which point you realize that there are no payphones and none of the streets run at right angles and the place is full of yuppies. The suburbs are exactly like those of any other city in the USA.
