Blonde D'Aquitaine
cattle are a moderately-sized
beef breed,
blonde in color and fairly easy to maintain. Originating in
Europe about 1,500 years ago, they were imported into the
United States in
1972 and are now common enough to have their own
American breeders' association. In
France, however, they are the third largest
beef cattle breed, and have also spread all over the world.
