Henri and
Jean Boiron and their colleague, René Baudry in
Toulouse,
France.
Currently the company employs over 2600 people worldwide and is still committed to the ethical mission of promoting
homeopathy worldwide.
In
1985 the company started the
Institute Boiron, a
research organization, which includes 150
doctors from over 30 countries. Their aim is to research homeopathic
clinical trials and make use of the findings in order to better understand homeopathic
medications.
Among
popular remedies manufactured by Boiron are
Oscillococcinum,
Arnica Gel/Ointment,
Calendula Gel and an array of
herbal cough syrups. These items are most often in
health food stores, natural
markets, and some
forward thinking drugstores.
