Proof that lightning can strike twice, C++Builder is Borland's sequel to the revolutionary Delphi, but it's more squarely aimed at real programmers.

It's a RAD programming environment, with much more depth than any similar product. You can drag and drop the user interface on to a form, access databases through an elegant class library, and write the processing code in C++ and the STL.

C++Builder, based on Delphi, is a sign of Borland succumbing to the misconception that "real programmers" have to use C++.

It's a RAD IDE, with almost as much depth as Delphi. You drag/drop the user interface on to a form, access databases through an elegant class library, the VCL - written in Delphi's Object Pascal! - and write your code in C++.
