C++Builder, based on
Delphi, is a sign of
Borland succumbing to the
misconception that "
real programmers" have to use C++.
It's a RAD IDE, with almost as much depth as Delphi. You drag/drop the user interface on to a form, access databases through an elegant class library, the VCL - written in Delphi's Object Pascal! - and write your code in C++.
