Computing Research Laboratory, a
publically-
funded research
lab run by
New Mexico State University as a joint venture between the
Computer Science and
Psychology departments. They research a lot of
interesting things regarding computers and psychology, such as
AI,
human-computer interfaces, computational
linguistics,
and so forth. They're actually one of the bigger
tech worker
employers in
Las Cruces, and have all sorts of funding from various places (including the
DoD, through
White Sands Missile Range, and
private industry). I believe all of their
work is made
public domain.
