Type of LCD display, not as good as TFT. Commonly found in low end laptops and internet appliances. Sold under the name passive matrix or dual scan. This type display has a very slow refresh rate and is not good for gaming or video. The slow refresh rate can also cause the mouse cursor to submarine.
