Well, today I was enlightened in my Biological Anthropology class. We are discussing what causes variation in different generations of a family. It just happens that we got into a discussion of which traits are dominant and which are recessive. My professor gave us the following examples of traits that are dominant, yet less common than their alternate recessive trait.

All of those traits are statistically the minority traits. According to what knowledge I possess that means that most people have a homologous recessive gene for these traits.
