Dual!

Dual!, Parallel Trouble Adventure, is an anime(Japanese animation) that basically parodies big robot anime or is a comedy with mechs. It feels like an amalgam of Tenchi Muyo and Neon Genesis Evangelion, so any fans of those shows should thorougly enjoy this one. Brought to the US by Pioneer Animation, it was made by AIC.

Characters:

• Kazuki Yotsuga - a high school boy, who has visions of mechs fighting each other overlapped with reality. He is taken to Mitsuki's father's lab, where he is accidently teleported to the parallel universe where the mechs exsist. Becomes the pilot of CR-1(white mech) and ZINV(gray mech).
• Mitsuki Sanada - the most popular girl at Kazuki's high school, she invites him to her house so that her father can take a look at him. She accidently sits on the lever that activates her father's teleporter, and she is also transported to the parallel universe as well. Becomes the pilot of CR-2(red mech).
• D - a bioroid(an artificial life form), that is close to being human. She is the last of an alien race. She was revived by Ken through cloning. In the beginning, she is missing her left eye and instead has a glowing blue orb in its place. She is the pilot of CR-3(blue and purple mech)
• Ken Sanada - a physicist who studies alternative dimensions. He is the father of Mitsuki in the real world and invented the teleportation device. In the parallel world he is the Chief Commander of the Global Defense Forces. He is also a bachelor in the alternate world.
