A teaching of Jesus' during The Sermon on the Mount
Jesus tells us to love our enemies, to pray for them.
This is difficult for me, I've wanted revenge against people in the past. To pray for a workplace or personal enemy to do well must be one of the most difficult things I do.
I only pray for someone infrequently. It is almost physically painful for me to wish an enemy well. I catch myself wishing the worst for certain people.
Sigh! I suppose I still have some growing up to do.
