FreeVeracity is a general-purpose data integrity tool for the Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and NetBSD operating systems. Similar in functionality to the popular tool Tripwire, FreeVeracity uses cryptographic hashes to detect changes in files. It is also network-aware, and can serve its snapshots of directories on the system over a secure channel to clients. The server running the network daemon for FreeVeracity uses TCP port 1062. FreeVeracity is available at http://www.freeveracity.org
