Famed R&B/Soul group consisting of the Wilson brothers, Ronnie, Charlie, and Robert. The name came from the three main streets in the black community in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the three grew up. The full name of the group therefore was originally the Greenwood, Archer, and Pine Band". They enjoyed most of their success in the late seventies and early eighties, scoring such hits as Yearning for Your Love, She Dropped the Bomb on Me, and Burn Rubber. Vocally, former Guy lead singer Aaron Hall and R. Kelly have obviously been influenced by lead singer Charlie Wilson.
