A
retrospective double-disc album from the southern
rock/
alternative rock band
Cracker. If you only want one Cracker album, this is the one to buy. Disc One has all of their
greatest hits from their previous four albums. Disc two is
B-sides, rarities, live recordings and collaborative efforts with other bands. Check out
You Ain't Goin Nowhere the
Dylan cover performed with
Adam Duritz and the other boys from the
Counting Crows along with
Joan Osborne.
This is one of those great driving albums. Heavy-hitting classic guitar, wailing
blues-inspired vocals, soul-screaming harmonica, and of course Cracker's traditional
wit and
sarcasm heavy lyrics.
Roll the windows down, shift into
fifth and soak up this incredible slice of
American rock and roll.
