Hal Gray is a professional writer from
Vancouver, who writes under the name Amadis Gaul. He holds a
BFA, and an
MFA, and was the
Print Futures program coordinator, and instructor of
Professional Readiness at
Douglas College, in
New Westminster,
British Columbia,
Canada.
He has been an editor, as well, and has published short fiction, feature articles, and educational film scripts since the mid 1970s. One of his more recent works is the play "Bottom's Dream".
Hal Gray derived his pseudonym from Garcó Rodróguez de Montalvo's Amadis de Gaula.
It is also the name of a character in the television series "Dangerous Minds" played by William Converse-Roberts.
