As one currently suffering from peripheral vascular disease leading to intermittent claudication·, hirpling around everywhere I go, I feel I am in the ideal position to clear up this bit of E2's knowledge gap.

There's a poem I recall as a child in which one of the characters came "hirpling hame" after some injury, and there was an unhoused guy named "Hirpling Jack" in my hometown, known for walking all over the city.
