Driving along the A4 out of London and just after the last roundabout before the M4 towards Heathrow on the left, there's a small, unassuming 18th Century house hidden behind a wall with a small door. The house was the country home of William Hogarth for the later years of his life.

The house and garden have been restored to be true to the period. It is open to the public where you can find a history of the artist and a small gallery of the artist's engravings. The garden is of interest as well with a mulberry tree that is over 300 years old.
